CANA Utilities has earned a longstanding reputation as a leader in the construction and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution lines for Alberta utilities.

During more than a half-century, CANA Utilities has completed thousands of kilometres of overhead installations including steel and wood structures.

CANA Utilities staff is experienced and well trained to efficiently operate a complete line of specialized tools and equipment for these installations in a variety of terrain and environments. CANA Utilities crews have completed several major projects through severe terrain throughout Western Canada for all types of overhead installations. CANA Utilities is also a leader in remote and limited access installations, and has completed numerous projects where specialized helicopter techniques were required.

Projects demanding design, supply and installation have also been completed for non-utility customers in the alternative generation area. Complete design, supply and install projects are areas where CANA Utilities offers expertise and efficiently completes projects. Other areas of expertise are in aerial rebuilding, energized maintenance and emergency restoration.
