ACE Construction has had a presence at the Syncrude open pit mine site near Fort McMurray since 1991.

A key component is building overhead lines for their infrastructure and mining equipment which has to withstand the harsh winter weather conditions of the Canadian north.

Much of the mine's distribution system must be built to transmission standards to allow high clearances for the large scale equipment used in the tar sand mining industry.

Our construction and maintenance efforts range from line construction and salvage, insulator cleaning, sign installation, street light replacement and conductor lifts during heavy equipment moves.
